Western Pyrenees

Big mountains, remote valleys and some of the longest descents in the Pyrenees.

Western Pyrenees

The Western Pyrenees offer some of the most spectacular mountain biking terrain in southern Europe.

This region combines high alpine landscapes, deep valleys and remote mountain villages connected by ancient trails. The riding here is bigger, wilder and more committing than in the Pre-Pyrenees, with longer descents and a true backcountry feeling.

From the historic town of Aínsa to the high mountains of Benasque and the lush valleys of Val d’Aran, riders experience a unique mix of terrain, culture and landscapes across one of the most impressive mountain ranges in Europe.

Pre-Pyrenees – Guided Full Week

Aínsa – Tremp

This trip is a complete mountain biking adventure in the Spanish Pyrenees, combining two very different riding destinations: Aínsa and Tremp.

The goal is to experience the contrast between both areas while maximizing descending thanks to shuttle support.

In Tremp, trails are mostly hand-built and flowy, featuring smooth berms, creative lines and large rock slabs. The riding is fast and playful, with a bike-park feel while staying in natural terrain.

In contrast, Aínsa — home to the famous Zona Zero trail network — offers more natural and technical riding, with rocky singletracks, steep descents and classic Pyrenean lines that demand precision and control.

By riding both areas, you get a complete Pyrenean enduro experience, combining speed, technical challenge and spectacular mountain scenery.
